In order to update your Beltronics GX65 you need to connect your radar detector to your computer via USB and also connect power your detector.  If you have a laptop you can update your detector in your vehicle and use the cigarette lighter adapter for power.  If you do not have a laptop then this is a must have accessory for your Beltronics GX65.  You can safely convert power from your AC home outlet to DC power to power your radar detector in your home.
