	The escort redline is extremely sensitive. I would highly recommend it. However, do not use a "standard headphone connection" as the manual states... this is a mono-only port. Using a stereo headphone jack will damage the unit. Best Radar Detectors has excellent customer service and i would defiantly buy from them again!!

	redline long range detector
	I've had this about a month now. It's very strange not getting all the false returns when you do away with the x band it is mostly silent. I still get a few K band false returns but very few. The few times I have actually encountered radar this think was jumping off my dash quite a long way off. It saved me from one ticket so far. It is very well made. I would recommend it. *One concern is the amount of heat it generates. It is not hot enough to burn you but close.

	Wise Investment
	This radar detector met my expectations, and has already saved me from several possible tickets! It works well, and I normally run it in the No-X mode in town. This reduces but does not eliminate false alerts. I did not like the suction cup mounting method, so I purchased an aftermarket mount which hooks on the rear view mirror. Anyway, the detector does work as advertised, and usually provides alerts in sufficient time to take appropriate action.

	Escort Redline
	The Escort Redline is a great detector and the range was amazing. The only complaint I have is with the design in that it almost looks like it has a ledge in the front of the detector. If mounted low on the windshield its fine but if you mount it high near the rear view mirror the display is hard to see. If mounting it high I suggest the Beltronics Sti Driver which is almost identical to the Redline.
