Overall radar detection performance is good, plenty of range. However, the supposed IVT filter is a joke. Constant BSM alerts in traffic got so annoying, I sometimes turned the unit off. It seemed to alert to almost all BSM's , not just the usual Hondas and Acuras that other detectors also have a problem with. The unit says is updatable, but as long as it has been out, there have been no updates available. Lastly the display, while provides a lot of useful info, is unreadable in on sunny days. If you don't care about BSM falsing and being able to read the display in sunlight, this would be for you. Like I said, detection performance is good, but not much else.
