I purchased this with the hopes of using it in lieu of a direct wire connect power source to a Uniden R3 mounted to my rear view mirror. While what I purchased looks very solid, trying to run\hide the wire it comes up about 3 feet short. I should have measured first. ;)

Perfect fit for when you need a straight cord

The original plug portion for my radar detector was too bulky and it was coiled. I needed a straight cord. I wish mine came with both options, but it didn't and this was the easy fix. It works as designed, been using it for 1 month+.
